A reception was held earlier today at 10 Downing Street for members of Conservatives Abroad who were visiting the U.K. during Party Conference week.
The event was hosted by the Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, Minister of State for Development, who regaled the audience by explaining exactly why the current political scene reminded him so much of the run-up to the 1992 General Election rather than that of the 1997 one.
